Our history in brief
Chat and Create was formed in 2013 by a group of mums who had just completed the “Stepping Out” program at the Break O’Day Child and Family Centre in St Helens.
The group was named Empowered Women and was supported by the Neighbourhood House Thriving Communities Initiative.
In 2015, the group gained some new members and moved to a new location and changed the group name to Chat and Create.
They now have a Facebook page and an average of 8 attending members.
The main activities carried out are crafts like card-making, mosaic, beading and sometimes cooking.
The girls enjoy their weekly get together, whether they are crafting or just chatting.
New members are always welcome!!
